They are absolutely unhinged. My question is this all just a publicity stunt or are they really this crazy. A quick search would show Null is only connected to kiwifarms, not lolcow or Reddit. I just don't get it.

Yep, Laur got Swained. I'm always amazed at how fast that happens. One minute normal, next minute you're sucked into the paranoid delusional whirlpool. It's impressive, actually.

We think the daughter's somewhat of a sped and the mother is... yeah, schizophrenic or something. Mommy keeps Lillee locked up in an attic and surrounds her with endless sockpuppets.

I think Mother is more of an opportunistic/dimwitted/stagemotherfromhell combo. She jumped at the chance to use this as publicity for her and her daughter, actual facts be damned. She definitely supplies her daughter with endless amounts of her personal koolaid. Poor kid.

Personally, I think the primary focus needs to be on Laur (at least for now). As the "momager," she's the main driver behind Lillee's push for beauty guru-dom. Plus, Lillee's only 18, still lives with her mom and is, as far as we can tell, still dependent upon her. There's some really unhealthy enmeshment going on there, in which Laur is the one in control. So until we know how much of Lillee's cringiness is actually done at Laur's instigation, and how much is due to her being an actual cow herself (rather than a teenager who doesn't know any better yet), I think we should treat Laur as the main cow.

There's a reason this thread originated in the Margaret Palermo thread, after all; Venus was once thought to be a lolcow until she finally left Margo, and in the aftermath everybody got to see just what a controlling, batshit Narcissist Mags was, and how Venus' shitty behavior online was actually Margo posting under her name. I think a similar dynamic is at work here.

Should Lillee turn out to be just as bad as her crazycakes mother, totally independent of her? Yeah, she'll deserve lolcow status, and the thread title can change accordingly. But until then, I'm in favor of cutting the kid some slack.

Mom's got to be one of the Cluster Bs (either Borderliner or Narcissist), because so many of our attention-grabby, self-aggrandizing cows are. Serve that up with a heaping plate of stupid, and you get someone like Laur (or Jonathan Yaniv, Russell Greer, Chantal Sarault, et. al.). Cluster B personality disorders, low intelligence, and lack of education makes for some of our best cows.

Aaaand they’re Jewish! Or at least LARPing as Jews (this is Margaret 2.0 after all). It’s plausible that she does have Jewish ancestors but they definitely don’t seem observant or make that part of their public image.

Edit: Laur also uses the names Truetiques, Travelintiques, Leitiques, and LLtiques as names for her antiques business and sometimes as usernames. Should (some of) those be added to the thread title/OP as well? Along with the major ig accounts (for the title)?
