After the news of it getting out, fans of Leaflit on Twitter would most certainly falsely blame people such as Harmful Opinions and Nikandros for organizing a "
doxxing" campaign against Leaflit and her mother. Even though they wouldn't be at fault for it, as they didn't do it, and despite that, they would probably still get shit for it.
There is also the bad timing of doing such a thing, since Leaflit did a rework on the Discord server that finally set in stone an 18+ rule and removal of the NSFW channel. And in response, revealing her and her mother's personal information would be in bad taste. There'll be such people on Twitter who will see this as evidence that Kiwi Farms would be engaging in a cancel campaign and wants to kill, swat, or do whatever they will claim that we want to do to Leaflit and her mother.
I concluded revealing such information back then would only cause negative consequences for Kiwi Farms, and people such as HO and Nikandros would unjustly get blamed for it, despite not being directly involved.

Shurelia was Leaflit's previous username for those unaware. So it would appear she (or someone representing her) struck down the video as a way to censor it.
I don't like censorship and the abuse of the copyright systems to censor reuploads.

Oh, so her Vtuber persona's last name (Mitsuha) is simply a shorter version of her actual last name. Not very original.
And yes, Leaflit Mitsuha's full name is Miyuki Mitsuhashi. Yes, she seriously used a shortened version of her surname for the surname of her VTuber character. The OPSEC failures are truly something. Though Leaflit's full name has been public information for the longest time. It's already well known that Shurelia is Leaflit, and her full name is literally in the credits for developers for LOL, and you can see this on the
LOL wiki.
Despite that, people will probably still claim you're "
doxing her name" if you mention this fact.
