for reals it's super annoying when lazy posters go for the embed rather than taking the time to archive and screengrab. we're dealing with lolcows. they will delete their shit. look how huge @Cynical's post is here and how it has virtually no content in it. if you need help figuring out your screengrab functions i found this useful tutorial http://bfy.tw/5ARu
 
agree but reporting them is second best until :dienull: does something.
 
Actualyl we should encourage people to post embeds but make all the cuck hotpockets go around replacing them with screengrabs themselves.
 
Thank you. This was getting so annoying looking at the many people who just are so lazy they won't want to take the time to cap anything, all for their precious ratings. It's not that fucking hard. Right now, I use a combo of archive.is, puu.sh, Lightshot Screenshot, and Fireshot depending on what I'm dealing with. Some of these are better for getting smaller screenshots up quickly.

I'm pretty sure when @CatParty said "Learn to screengrab so we don't lose content if a lolcow deletes it" he didn't mean "Hotpocket cucks, please preemptively delete all our content to save it from being deleted!"
 
Or you can install FireShot, it takes full page screenshots and it's available for all popular browsers.
 
Embeds are useful because you can go to them and see the subsequent replies. Maybe it shouldn't embed by default, though, but require you to do it on purpose, because you sometimes just want to post the url to them.

I figure the end result is the same, delete the posts, warn the members and most people will start screen capping instead.
