  • The Kiwi Farms was targeted with a historic DDoS attack last week. Confirmed reports of 2.8Tbps on an individual provider, topping 4.8Tbps when known volumes are added together, and possibly up to 8Tbps if the attacker is believed. This is the third of fourth largest recorded.

I previously held COMPTIA certs and stuff that was niche to my job until I burned out and left the IT sector. Unfortunately, I am getting on in years and physical labor is leaving me with a limp and I am need of escape back into a sit-down job that needs to make me more then $20/hr. I am sure there are many of you like me in this position or just starting out and perhaps there are people currently in industry willing to share knowledge so their fellow man doesn't have to suffer.

In this thread, please share/discuss resources/certifications and where to find work after obtaining said skills.

well with sit-down jobs there are mostly office jobs which require a PC to use. not sure how to help ya out OP, collect welfare if you genuinely cant work properly any more.

Get your Security and related certs? Or are those largely useless now too?
They expire after 3 years and I havnt bothered to renew. Had A+, Security+, and Network+. I suppose though since AI these are largely out of date, especially with the introduction of slots for chips dedicated for it… oh and I suppose changes at DataCenters as well.
