In all seriousness, what is more of a burden- a dog or a son so autistic he avoids looking at his own reflection, had to be tardwrangled through school and whose only ambition is to mod an internet imageboard.@Vitriol already beat me to the sick burn, but that's such a bizarre mindset to me. Yeah, the dog poops outside. You can't really toilet train a dog like a person. But the pay-off is unconditional love and companionship from a creature who thinks you're the best thing that's ever happened to them.
Then again, that kind of makes sense, coming from you. Your family doesn't like dogs? Are they also similarly callous towards the disabled? Do they talk disparagingly about those with "special needs" less functional than you? Do you ever get the impression they think of you as a burden?
Just asking because I wonder how much of this bizarre behavior is learned from example.
@x86x2 I'm not even going to go near the 'barney is the 9/11 of childrens tv' comment; I'm an adult I don't give a shit, before this thread I hadn't thought about the thing in over 20 years.
Chris Chan, a man as autistic as you, owns his own small business and has a degree. One could quite easily point out he is less of a burden than you are.
