I got pretty good with a bow and arrow but kept shooting low and to the left (great groups though).

Turns out I’m left-eye dominant and have to re-learn.

WTS 22” Hoyt Satori riser.

Also if you’re cross dominant learn to shoot with your non-dominant hand it’s easier.
 
Left eye dominant here too, and the gun thing sucks big time. Most things I can do at least ok with my right arm, but using a rifle or shotgun right handed will never not feel bizarre for me.

A lot of people shoot with both eyes open.
