I'd like to make the point that the crucifixion was an explicitly unjust execution performed under pressure of Pharisee-backed riots if it was not ordered. Legionnaires executing someone is not the same as a beat cop having to subdue a criminal during an arrest.

What exactly do they think is a "surplus" from the 'value' they think they provide for whatever megacorp they are currently working for? What more do you add to the company than a robotic arm if your job is folding boxes for shipments or flipping patties? Your work directly translates into part of the product being sold, and your value ends there.
