Normally you'll hear pro-life groups and individuals criticize human overpopulation because of their stance on abortion. But there is also a small albeit vocal minority on the left who are skeptical on the term, however they point the finger at capitalism and white people as being polluters. You can see them pushing this more with white people causing more pollution and how brown people are most likely to suffer form that.

Jungles are often destroyed by indigenous people who use slash and burn farming. They do not really value the jungle because there is alot of it. Same with US Indians and the Buffalo. They hunted them to extinction for the hides just like the white settlers. They did not "use every part of the Buffalo" after colonization.
