On principle, I support gun ownership for all despite political alignment, though the idea of a bunch of leftist degenerates owning guns does not make me happy.

Thankfully most of them are too hoplophobic to own guns, or are the type to turn it on themselves rather than others. I unironically love the fact that most leftists are anti-gun despite having no good reason to be, even within the framework of their own professed ideology.

Then you factor in how many of them are felons at best, or are on the sex offender registry at worst, it seems I've got little to worry about when it comes to being shot by a leftist. On the other hand, still gotta remain vigilant, as troons do commit mass shootings with increasing frequency these days.

If you can't stand behind the first amendment why the fuck you think you deserve the second amendment? I'm not allowed to tell a man in a dress he's mentally ill but, he can fill out a 4473 form? How the fuck they even make it past box #6?

Far far more likely to intentionally 41 themselves or each other in some kind of domestic violence incident, than to get into some real fire fight with an opposing armed entity. Last I recall if you are an FFL you have full right to refuse to sell a firearm to someone you find questionable.

The "tranch people" were real into guns, openly made statements to "teach any transgender person firearm handling" last I recall. Few years later they were responsible for the unintentional deaths of hundreds of alpacas and living out of a car or tent or something. Didn't even have their shit together to get an apartment or rent a house, pissed off all the local people. I'm sure the plate carriers and AR's were pricey.

I think it's more cringe when leftists larp with guns (compared to right wingers) because of how idiosyncratic it is, and how disconnected leftism is as an entire ideology. While most rightwingers are pretty unified in thought about guns and the concept of 2A and self-defense, one leftist will pose with a peashooter for social media clout while another one yells at them for being a heckin violent fascist.
