Never thought i'd think back to her disgusting sex scenes on Girls as being when she was "slim". Oof.
I think she has mentioned this herself, but her fathers art (Caroll Dunham) is extremely graphic and she was exposed to shit like this at a young age:
Brilliant.
I'm going to encourage the down-votes and say I actually loved her film "Tiny Furniture" which preceded Girls and ostensibly got her places. Her sister is also normal (& hot) in it. Later realized Girls was just "Tiny Furniture" the series and she doesn't have any other ideas. The sister character was cut (I imagine for taking away too much attention) She can't do anything but play the "character" of the cutesy neurotic narcissist fat pixie thing she has become known for. Which also ended up being not a character at all, it's actually just her. So I am now at the place where I realize she is a talentless hack but I still think Tiny Furniture is a fantastic little indie flick worth watching if you can pretend you don't know anything about her. *Criterion released "Tiny Furniture" if that's any show of quality to anyone as well.
*I'm aware of how my post sounds very "I liked Lena Dunham before she was cool" and the hipster-y-ness of that.
