Lena Dunham - Fat, Child Molesting Attention Whore and Her Trainwreck of a Family

Gosh, no more pills. I guess it's back to booze and massive amounts of food to self-medicate Lena's pain of having everything in your life handed to you on a silver tray.

Nah, just no more benzos, but all those pain pills are totally fine because her doctor totally said she needs them.

If you even believe she’s stopped benzos. The minute her doctors stop upping the pain meds she start screaming for benzos to mix with them.

Quitting Benzos is incredibly difficult. So much so that older patients who're on benzos are expected to just take 'em till they die of old age.

No way in hell do I see Lena Dunham quitting a drug like that. It requires an immense effort on the part of the addict over a span of several months to a year. Flakey spoiled cunts don't just up and walk away from benzos.

Is there a detox/rehab process that can short circuit the whole thing? I know there's some drugs where they can bascially knock you out for the worst of the withdrawl to help you get over it, but this isn't my area.

Short answer, No.

you have to step it down over the course of months, and for the entire taper period, you're gonna be very scared all the time. After you're done with the taper, you still have to Jump Off at some point and when you do that it's gonna get a lot rougher. Maybe even surreally terrifying.

Benzo damage takes years to recover from.

There's no substitute for it either. You can take methadone when you quit heroin, but there's no benzo equivalent.

She claims to have Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome. Or, she intends to continue her attention whoring by following the Munching Way. I'm guessing she's going to go into munching full time. It's not like she has any other work lined up. EDS is fairly common among munchies, if what I've read in the Munchie thread is any indication.

Lena Dunham is opening up about life with a chronic illness.
The "Girls" alum, 33, took to Instagram Friday to address a recent paparazzi picture of herself in pajamas holding a cane after leaving a doctor's appointment in Los Angeles.
"The truth is just: This is what life is like when I’m struggling most with chronic illness. An Ehler-Danlos syndrome flare means that I need support from more than just my friends… so thank you, sweet cane!" she captioned the paparazzi picture.

Dunham said she chose to unapologetically speak her truth, rather than cower in fear.
"I could lie and say it was an early Halloween look," the actress said. "I could choose to be embarrassed by these paparazzi pics- I mean, that’s probably the point of someone publishing them in the first place- but I’m really not."
Instead, Dunham decided to celebrate a personal victory, noting she historically had shunned the idea of using a cane for extra assistance.

"For years, I resisted doing anything that would make my physical situation easier, insisting that a cane would 'make things weird,'" she added. "But it’s so much less weird to actually be able to participate than to stay in bed all day."
As for wearing her nightgown out of the house? "I was walking four feet to the car to go to the doctor and I wanted to be full cozy. I mean, didn't (Justin) Bieber wear hotel slippers for like five years? Yeah, so I can wear my glamour nighty for two hours," Dunham said.

Oh Lena...

Someone didn't read the Abby Cappleman thread!

I mean she’s been an obvious munchie pill head for awhile now but going full on with the EDS nonsense and hipster cane shows she’s now 100% committed to the munchie path. With her past she can be a real queen bee SJW munchie supreme.

I don't disagree with you, but considering what MBP has been churning out recently in the "trans kids" horrorshow, I'm a lot less inclined to get worked up about this. As an aside, I'm really glad she got herself sterilized; any kid that she popped out would be doomed from the start barring a very rich and responsible father managing to get sole custody.

You might be thinking of Ibogaine. It has been described to have an effect similar to what you said of people suddenly losing their heavy addictions. Supposedly reseting the pathways in your brain that cause ones addiction. It's like a very difficult 2 day trip with intense visuals and introspection. A lot of people say they tend to look through their life like a movie and see the traumas that lead them to addiction. It's illegal in the united states. It doesn't work for everyone though and there are horror stories of people traveling to South America and getting swindled out of thousands of dollars for a low dose of possibly ibogaine and help from a completely untrained staff unequipped with basic medical supplies.
