Failed Lent already. Not cut out for it. Truly I am dust.
When you fall, get back on your feet and start again. The fight is hard, it may not be the last time you fall, but don't give up.

It's my first time doing Lent. I'm progressively trying to reduce my food intake, I can't go full fasting with my health concerns, but so far I've successfully reduced it to one meal without meat or fish and two bread slices. I'm also reading the gospels and praying every evening before going to sleep. The most hard part for me is becoming more charitable. I'm going to ask again the priest to see if he has something I can do to help. Also, I know I am falling again in my usual sins, but the fight against them is not limited to Lent, it just feels harder when I feel I have so much to do.

I've given up saying and typing slurs
I did that with swearing once to class up my act and was shocked by how much I and others use them as filler words. Easier said than done.

conception dates coincided with the week around Easter
Well it is a purification ritual and Spring is the time to plant seeds 😏
Even in modern times women will use it to quit some thing that may harm baby, and then get knocked up.

I've done what I've done normally. Broke the daily fast today with bayaynatu, which will be my only meal of the day. I've given up khat and coffee for this Great Lent, which is what I do every time. I barely use the internet at all, nor do I masturbate or lustfully look at women. Stay strong, we'll make it through.

You know...? Challenge accepted.

I got your exercise regimen right here boss

I'm giving up chocolate, and in extension, excessive snacking in between meals for Lent. It's gonna be tough, but I have apples and sugar-free ice pops to keep my sweet tooth at bay.

tbh sounds like you'll want one of these for Lent.

Apple Cider Vinegar and NAC will help with the cravings.

I generally give up and I hereby forfit what's left of my soul to Oscar the grouch.

Im not Catholic. Grew up around LDS family and Lent wasnt a thing.

I notice meat is on sale, so I buy more of that. Not getting sale chocolate though, cause Im up to 55 kilos (at 5 foot 3) so I guess Im abstaining from that.

I've already cheated by following the letter of the law, it hit midnight on Sunday so I threw my hands up and said that it's technically Sunday so I could eat meat. Lord knows it's not the hunger that's the struggle but the deprivation of the palate.
