Apparently having a distant family member you never met doing something is a valid enough reason to support that same thing/same ideals, even when it's actively harming people in the present day and keeping around dangerous mind-sets.

So you would fly the flag of the side opposite of the side your family fought on. That makes sense to you does it?

My family was deeply involved in the Confederacy. We had a governor of one of the Confederate states, we had a brigadier general who was memorialized with a statue after the Yankees killed him. I do not fly a Confederate flag. I do not have a Confederate flag on anything. Your argument of wanting to fly the flag because your family were part of the Yankees is just - what.

To put it in incredibly simple terms that I hope even a slack-jawed moron such as yourself can understand, you know the Confederates were the "bad guys", right? Just because a group has the label 'rebels' does not automatically mean they're the "good" side.

And this is coming from someone who has the 1860s heritage. My ancestors fought for both the Confederacy and Union. As they did in the Revolution before that. Hell I don't even know when my ancestors immigrated because the records back then are incomplete, we just seemed to spawn in America a few decades before shit went nuts with the French/British.

So @Schuylkill Valley, I'm curious about something. You always talk about how you got a job and how you're doing employment stuff, so why don't you throw us a softball and describe what industry you work in? That's it. No job titles, no companies, just the general industry you're employed in.

Here, I'll go first: I work in real estate. See? Easy, really vague and you can't use it to trace me because lol, there's dozens of different job descriptions that all have "real estate" in them, seeing as it's a category and not a title. So, how about it?

You can't make up a fake account and pretend something that can be demonstrably seen as not true by a click of the profile, Len. No claiming respect for something you haven't got this time.
