Not really the restaurant per say but I hate crying or uppity children. I wish waitstaff were empowered to ask parents to take their kids outside until they calm down if they keep going on.
My grandma did it with my uncle and my mom did it with me. If your baby is just sitting in a highchair derping and waving to me, that's fine and I'm not gonna be cursing ye breeders. But if your kid is crying and you're blocking it out then I will give you a dirty look and wish you gave the kid something to knock them out.

I've had that happen pretty often at this one Taco Bell (quality garbage amirite?) to the point I refuse to drink anything they sell. Then again, that place was full of sad and sobbing manchildren who hated to do the bare minimum, like the subject of this thread. Speaking of which, Len, what thing do you hate the most when a restaurant does it?

It's only slightly behind my two biggest pet peeves though, since I consider selling frozen food off at a marked up price to be a massive sin and joke, and while not as awful, most dishes NEED salt and pepper to taste great.

As for favorite dishes, I'm very much a big fan of spicy foods and sea foods.

Anyway, as Curt had noted before, the thing about Len is that he is capable of doing work. While apparently at the railroad, he did actually focus on doing a job if said job stimulated him enough to focus on it.
