Len doesn't even like trains! It's just something that he got into as a kid and now he can't get out. It's something his father forced him into and even though he's an adult and his dad is dead he can't break free. Who knows how his dad implemented his love for rails into Len and who knows what went wrong... Instead of loving the Colebrookdale Railroad Len ended up hating it.
