Ok this might be a bit strange but I think this crap is about to get real weird. Bare with me on this.

I'm reasonably sure The Knight Rider has never been Kaufman due to talking with the train guys. They all have told me this is classic Shaner desperation. He's scared and out of options.

Even stranger, I actually think James Kaufman Jr's Facebook page is actually Leonard Shaner also. Look at his page. This is not a normal guy's page. It has nothing to do with being Kaufman and everything to do with defending Shaner. All the things he likes are strange and out of place. They are a mish mash of someone trying to figure out what a normal person likes. If you look at the front page you see an old actor, a deer, a baby duck, and 2 Shaner things. I legit think this is a Shaner page. I'm starting to think Kaufman may be the second person after Lehman that Shaner's trying to throw under the bus to take attention away from him. It's just a theory, though.

@The_Knight_Rider dude make a separate account. We cant tell when its you or shaner typing and we cant directly address you unless you got your own account. Also the accounts are free why have two people use one account?

@Zim holy shit. This is getting weird. Someones going to have to outright contact Kaufman and ask if its legit him or not.

What's the connection between "our" Kaufman, and his friend James C. Kaufman? Is that Kaufman Jr.'s dad? If so, it seems strange that he would have friended a fake profile. Or is it even more complicated than that?

As mentioned, he does this, I front the 20 dollars for this webzone. Because I'd definitely love to see that cardboard box Shaner has on his head as a disguise get ripped off.

This thread just keeps getting more and more hilarious the longer I look at it.

Figured this would be a good time to insert this here. A while ago a lot of the Colebrookdale guys got in a little exchange with Kaufman on Facebook (or at least his account). All of the grammar and what not is exactly the same between that and the posts that obviously aren't Shaner on here. Kaufman is Len's only "friend" as far as we know.
Also, consider that Kaufman drives for Barr-Nunn, and even further, consider who owns Burr-Nunn, but none other than Knight Transportation. A parent company to Barr-Nunn. Just a thought but it makes complete sense.

Forget about multiple off-camera strobes slaved to the camera. Shaner's photos scream "untalented, untrained, autistic amateur" on multiple levels far more rudimentary. Let's start with his framing. Notice how the subjects of his photos are almost always dead center in the frame, both vertically and horizontally. Not doing that is one of the first things you learn in any photo class; not doing that is one of the first topics covered in any competent book aimed at amateur photographers. Shooting images like that for years without figuring out that you're producing photos with framing that is uninteresting in the extreme is probably related to his autism. The one thing that can be said in his favor is that his shots are far better than those of Jonathan M. Sweet (The Iconoclast), who also claims to be a talented photographer.

Are many members of the lolcow herd drawn to photography? Do they all exhibit the same lack of skill coupled with an incomprehensibly high opinion of the images they post?

I think drawing/ digital art tends to be the artistic medium of choice since it doesn't require as fancy equipment nor going outside. I'd imagine that if any are into photography, they all would have similar amateur tells. I think the majority of artistic ("artistic") cows tend to suck at their craft, at least since talent tends to make people a bit more willing to put up with crap. Plus most of the quality amateur artists I've encountered tend to be relatively grounded.

I hope there are more lolcows into photography. It would be interesting to see that instead of the typical sanic recolors and inhuman body proportions.

It's interesting how easily you people get Swade in thinking I am 17-18 years old, showing you people are only yourselves in your early 20's. It was Stevens who said once, " You can always fool a Man in his 20's, because they're not grown up quite yet." You people have such a grudge against Mr. Shaner it shows. Now a few threads back someone from this group stated that Len is older than most on this page.
I did some checking into Pocket_Sand! Story on Strasburg (Almost Derailment) It's strange no one, I repeat, No one knows what he's talking about! I was talking to the general manager and he assured me that it never happened. Then I asked him about Mr. Shaner suposly impersonating Kelly Anderson and David Dunn back in 2004 by sending this "Letter" The same answer came back. No one knows what he's talking about!
The information that Pocket_Sand! Received was from Mr. Dennis Blank. Strasburg knows of him very well. Theres a case still open on him for throwing a 430 volt cable up over the rail head as the train was pulling into the station. The close circuit camera capture the event from the gift shop. That's all they could tell me.
They assured me that Mr. Shaner is not banned from their railroad. And the Railroad Museum of Pennsylvania said the same thing. They did confirm he's no longer a member of the Friends program. He simply left his membership run out.
The "GM" said we don't leave tie plates lay loose along our tracks.
