Autism happened.

Though, to be honest, Len probably had an exceptionally bad hand. I got thinking about this when I mentioned his Chris characteristics earlier. Chris became Chris only because he was denied access to special ed programs by his parents that could've helped him understand and control his autism, instead 'mainstreaming' him and giving him an endless amount of asspats growing up. Len, on the other hand, is what, 57? He would've been born in 1957 or 1958, and I'm pretty sure special education wasn't particularly refined and effective back then. What would've been the options for parents raising their autistic child in the 60's? Len may have very well had no access to treatment that could've helped him growing up, and that's sort of really sad now that I think about it.

Not sad enough though that I'm going to stop photoshopping Len into gay bars, though.

While that is true, about special ed. not really being a thing in the 50's and 60's, plus the general stigma of having a "special" child, I don't think Len's 'tism is too, too bad. While I'm sure the correct curriculum, coping skills and support would have helped him, I'm not 100% sure if his mental issues are his biggest thing.

This guy clearly has a lying problem and a hugely distorted sense of reality and self, beyond your general autistic. I think the bulk of his problems are his personality and his autistic tendencies just make it worse, like not "getting" social cues. Even without autism he'd probably be almost the same person, except instead of missing social cues, he'd just ignore them.

Like Chris, I think Len was born with a personality predisposed to being a shit head and everything else just made it worse.

The new one is averaging about 100 negatives an hour so far, so if he keeps up that trend he'll be on there a third time very quickly.
