Someone remind me how the case against Len could at all be refuted even if the train was speeding, since I don't think that's at all related. What is he getting tried for again?

Len, you couldn't win this court case even if you had Phoenix Wright, @Saul Goodman, the entire US Supreme Court, Chris-chan's Chaotic Combo, and Atticus Finch on your side.
The entire prosecution could suffer simultaneous brain hemorrhaging and you would still lose.
@God, the Bear, Saint Paul, and the archangel Michael could descend from on high and testify on your behalf and you would still lose.

I thought so. Now, how does the train speeding have anything to counter this charge, @Schuylkill Valley? Even if the train was speeding, it doesn't make trespassing on private property that you were banned from legal. Had you some way of proving this, perhaps you could inform the wing of the local government there that would be in charge of enforcing railway laws, but that's it. It wouldn't get you off for trespassing.
This is akin to breaking into a facility to prove that their equipment wasn't meeting government specifications. Sure, they were making a mistake, but it doesn't justify a random private party breaking in there to find out. You aren't a one man police force with a warrant, Len, you don't have any legal cause to trespass on private property.

The property I was on, I had permission to be there. I wasn't on Railroad property. All I was doing was taking photography of a stupid train , for God sake. I don't know why their trying so fucking hard to land me into jail.
