I was reading railroad forums and found out Lenny will be chasing a train called NKP 765 on August 22nd. I happen to be riding the train that day so I will report if I see the red truck and gut.

You're making a big assumption there. There's no way Len is strong enough to overpower even a weak, sickly little child.
We are talking about someone who has creeped on kids, and given some kids might be too petrified with terror of the fucked up manchild trying to bad touch them, I'm not so sure.
I feel the need to add, this is a man with little to no impulse control, so I don't put this past him.

Also interesting to note. The gent on the O Gauge fourm named "Rich Melvin" is one of the key players with the Fort Wayne railroad historical society (FWRHS) That owns the NKP 765.
I recall another conversation I had with Rich and another member of that group about Len almost getting plowed over by the 765 in 2011 or 2012 when the engine operated over NS metals out of Altoona.
While I don't remember EVERY detail of that incident.. I do remember at one point he attempted to place his camera in between the rails to get the "roll over" shot. He was almost hit by an NS freight.
Now that seems rather minor in the scope of things.. and personally I found it funny.. and then I realized something.
Norfolk Southern's 21st century Steam program could have ended that day.
The cost of operating what is effectively a rolling pressure cooker on wheels on a mainline railroad is astronomical. The insurance alone is so high that after only 4 years of trips, it is uncertain if the program will continue.
All it will take is ONE person like Len to get hit or cause a serious problem and that will be the end of the program.
Think of that for a moment. Len ruining EVERYTHING. Len ruining the chance for children to experience mainline steam in its prime.
To most of you Kiwis, it's just a train.. but for some of us.. it's a lot more than just a machine.
Len has ruined many things.. I really hope he doesn't ruin the chance for a child to experience something like this.
Anyways, I didn't mean to bore anyone.

And I'm only asking questions and not stating with any certainty to the truth of these allegations, but is Leonard F. Shaner Jr. on the sex offender registry? Have the police been notified of Leonard F. Shaner Jr.'s alleged activities? Have the police investigated Leonard F. Shaner Jr. as a person of interest in any missing child cases?
These are all important questions. Are Leonard F. Shaner Jr.'s neighbors aware he allegedly tried to lure children away with candy?

This is going to sound twisted beyond belief.. So take this with a grain of salt.
The majority of cases like this that have happened on museum property never come to light until it is too late.
Why? Simple.
The kids that are attracted to work on railroad equipment feel that they shouldn't question those in power, otherwise they may loose their chance to work on this stuff.
The same thing happened in Chattanooga with David Pugh.
He was in charge of many things at TVRM and molested several boys on museum property. The boys felt that if they came forward, they wouldn't get to work on this stuff.
I can only assume the same thing has happened with Len. By the time the boys come forward, they are past the cut off date for charges to be filed. (There's a legal term for it, Im just drawing a blank at the moment)
In some cases (Not all) I believe Len used his "power" to abuse people. (Self proclaimed or not. Some people can't tell the difference)

You're looking for the statute of limitations. As far as we know, there's no evidence that Len has ever been charged with, or accused of (by the authorities) anything related to children. That said, we have a lot of anecdotal evidence. Len has, however, used someone else's identity in order to get what he wants, including claiming he was a person in a position of power. We have full, documented evidence of him doing so, multiple times, on multiple accounts; the only defense against said claims would be: "Someone else was using the computer", and his writing style tends to give him away.
