Knockoff cereals are all over the place in terms of quality. Fake Capn Crunch is usually pretty much indistinguishable from the real stuff, and it's fine to eat. Fake frosted shredded wheat is usually like eating cardboard because Kellogg must be the only company that's figured out how to fluff the wheat shreds when they're made. The worst I've ever had were fake Froot Loops. The taste was fine but the texture was horrible. They felt like they were covered in snot.

As far as real cereals go, my least favorite is Cookie Crisp. Their only selling point is that they're cookies for breakfast. They're like stale, rock-hard Chips Ahoy but somehow with even less flavor. Fuck those things.

I absolutely love Cheerios, I could eat the stuff all day. I'm not a big fan of the Honey Nut version, though.

That stuff annoys me. IIRC it's pretty much nothing like cookies except in shape and color. As a kid I'd always imagined them tasting and feeling like actual little cookies instead of the nasty shit that it was. So disappointing.

I remember one time I ended up getting this box of generic Reese's Puffs. Thinking everything would be fine and it would at least be passable, I went ahead and had a bowl.

Shit tasted like onions and I was sick for hours after that. To this day I still have no idea how the fuck that happened.

the Millville version of Cinnamon Toast Crunch is amazing. I like it better than the actual CTC

I haven't had Life in ages, but it is one of my favorites. Mostly I eat Cheerios with some honey, cinnimon, and raisins/berries mixed in.
The generic frosted flakes and frosted mini wheats are pretty tasty too.

Cheerios are lovely and I'm glad they're sold mostly everywhere.

I'm also fond of some of the chocolatey cereals around like Chocapic or Choco Krispies (the latter I think is called Cocoa Krispies in the USA).

Lately i've also gotten back into Special K, and while I like the one with chocolate bits, lately i'm into this one that has bits of cereal covered in coats of yogurt, and it's pretty nice (this coming from someone who has a hard time liking yogurt).

I had weird cravings in the Navy, toast for example. We had "toasters" that were the track type ones you see at bagel places that would take a dry piece of bread, and give you a slightly drier piece of bread after several minutes.

We had Kellogs cereal all the time (occasionally with added protein as some sort of mealworms would get into the cardboard boxes that had the wax paper inner bag), so I would crave something from General Mills. I'd buy the biggest box of Cheerios I could get at the NEX in Baharain, since that was the only place I could find it.

Cookie Crisp's mascot is furry bait so that's the only reason it's successful, also eating cookies for breakfast lol.
