I've been looking for a good horror podcast, preferably anthology or Lovecraftian with people that have good voices. I can't seem to get in to the Black Tapes and I liked Nightvale until the 2nd season when it became an Inclusionist power fantasy about the world's bravest teenage black girl.

Throw me some ideas

If you have any interest in history, Dan Carlin's hardcore history is a great time sink. The episodes are up to 6 hours long, are intensely researched, and the presenter starts sounding like the Colonel from MGS after a while. The only bad news is that the upload schedule is glacial and you have to pay for older episodes, but there's always about 50 hours of content for free so it's hard to complain.

The guy just started a series on the Asian theater of WWII and hot diggity am I hyped for some first-hand accounts of Unit 731.

I'm not sure if it's what you're looking for, but there is a very good anthology series of radio-play adaptations of Lovecraft stories and novellas made by HPLHS. I can hook you up with a torrent if you are interested. It's called "Dark Adventure Radio Theatre" and done in the spirit of radio-plays from the '20s and '30s, with the production value being pretty good in terms of the sound design and period accents and all that. Very different from the "audio-book" format in that there is usually minimal to no narration, and all the plot and events are conveyed in dialogue and sound effect

I don't mind paying for something if the quality is worth the cash, really

Should've said in my earlier post but I'm always in the market for anything that makes the work day go by, preferably something really long form with a nice backlog to it.
