Yall were saying Chip said Voidburger helped him out of depression, but I would assume that not only is she not selfless enough to notice when her long-time-friend/boyfriend is depressed, she would be the type of girl who legitimately believes that someone like ChipCheezum couldnt be depressed or have anything to be depressed about because he is a cis white male (and therefore, his problems are less serious). Kind of surprised TieTuesday had beef with Lowtax's moderation. They produced some pretty good content together and I thought they shared similar mindsets with these topics. I asked both of them over Twitter a few weeks ago if they were planning on collaborating again and they both said 'yeah'.

Slowbeef is good people though, I hope he never gives in to the SJW mindset that surrounds him.

Shouting over stupid anime games is basically what the Retsuprae channel became and it's kind of depressing. I remember following them back in the day when they made fun of idiots on YouTube and thought their shit was golden, couldn't miss a single video. Had to unsub a while back though because all they do is lazy commentating over Sega CD games now. Their commentary adds nothing and basically amounts to "woaahhh look at that, lol!! this is craaazy!". You can tell Diabeetus has no interest in it anymore either and just kind of phones it in. Not that I can blame him.

The problem with retsupurae is that the subject matter isn't always great. Nearly everything they've done in the last year has been boring as shit to me, with a few exceptions.

These idiots getting themselves banned is one of the most vain and impulsive acts of self-destruction I've seen in a while. They clearly need SA more than SA needs them. Voidburger's LP "career" for example is going to suffer now that she's cut off from her main source of attention and validation. The simple reality is that most SA LPers don't survive striking out from SA because they fail to stand out in this decade's oversaturated market.

On some level they know this and they're trying to rationalise it away so they don't have to acknowledge they just shot themselves in the head for momentary popularity with a coterie of dead end retards. Patreonbux from a few dozen people is not a sustainable lifestyle but that's all most of these names can hope for.

I've got to disagree with this. Whilst I think some of the videos they produce aren't great, I think their average quality has gone up over the years.

You might be on to something with Diabetus losing interest, however. Diabetus deleted all of his SA posts and his ask.fm with no explanation last year, and Slowbeef is a self-centred, egotistical shithead who would happily ditch Diabetus and pair-up with one of the many unfunny retards that hang around him like flies around shit.

That was the SD Snatcher Christmas stream, I remember. That was irritating as fuck and also really classless given that he was bragging about how much money he was getting in donations when Diabetus had had problems finding work recent to that.

If you want more cringe watch Slowbeef's relatively recent Earthbound stream where Diabetus was a guest. Slowbeef would literally cut off Diabetus as he was speaking so he could read out subscribers/donations (and he set up the notification to trigger a sound clip from Gradius every single fucking time).

The only good thing about the stream was Diabetus making fun of him for it.

I mistyped, I actually meant the recent Policenauts stream, but yeah, Snatcher SD was probably the earliest sign that things were going downhill.

Policenauts was just a huge waste, not only because there was a small tradition with doing commentaries on these older Kojima games around Christmas but also because slowbeef was one of the translators.
