Yeah, I think it's just because he had a Patreon goal to stream regularly as a means of providing some extra content for his patrons. He rarely if ever streamed before then. I'm sure wanting to jointly create content with Voidburger also plays a hand in why he continues to do it.

He's not a Twitch partner (meaning no paid subscription, virtual currency or ad revenue) and doesn't have a donation link (only his Patreon) so he's not getting money from it. It's odd because having an extra revenue source is the reason why most YT creators take up streaming. Maybe doesn't want the (minimal) added effort of reading and thanking subs and donations. Like, Voidburger already does it.

The thing about him streaming as a Patreon goal though is that he absolutely has not kept up with it, he definitely doesn't stream once a week and it's been 3 months since his "monthly" podcast updated.

It's a shame too because some of his older streams are fairly entertaining when Void isn't tanking the atmosphere the entire time and the podcast is some good back-and-forth between him and Ironicus.

If my time line isn't wrong, he set up that patreon before he had a job right? Streaming once a week when you're working gets pretty exhausting. Still no excuse for him not to change the reward though

Chip is (possibly) honing in on a job after a year, so that's good for him.

I'm 99% sure Voidburger's philosophy on labour is that work is a capitalist scam and everyone should get UBI instead. Nearly everyone in her ideological kennel is like that.

Happy for Chip, and on that note let's hope Void doesn't become an increasingly depressed by leading an unfulfilled jobless life and starts being a bummer (more of one) to every one around her.

Chip might have to pump a baby into her just to keep her preoccupied so her paranoid delusions don't take over every aspect of her life. That's quite sexist of me, I know please forgive me Queen Voidburger.

Being :optimistic: as hell right now, but I genuinely hope she keeps her job, moves on up through life, and starts taking the appropriate medication. There's a weird part of me deep down that cares about these nutjobs and I don't want to see this devolve into a murder-suicide. Chip is actually talented and seems like an alright guy over all, so I'm sure at least some people would miss him.
Maybe not Ironicus though, he'd probably be happy Void stood up for herself as a woman and killed, most likely, his only friend.

Please don't make me imagine what Voidburger would do to a kid. Chip could be a good dad, but Voidburger would ruin a child.

She seems like the type that wouldn't want kids anyway; probably hates them because they remind her too much of herself.

I remember enjoying the Game Grumps episode of it back when Jon was on the show so I'm a little familiar with it.

The reason Slowbeef's playing it isn't for fun, though, he's doing the whole "come watch me play TERRIBLE games and give me money" thing that didn't work out for Lowtax.

Being mad and critical at things is his whole shtick. He's not bad at it either, but the LP success train has left the station and he wasn't on it, and never will be. I was a fan of his since '08, but he has always needed someone more positive to back him up and reign in his :autism:

That said, I don't think this game gives him a lot of material to work with. IIRC the board game part is boring, and the mini games are standard mario party fare.
