I think there is a couple of other people in the same boat but I can't recall their names, one guy has something about a beard in his name, another uses an avatar of a Megaman character (might of been Zero?).

While I admire their dedication to sticking to the old ways I can't help but think that it would be more enjoyable for their fans to be able to talk in real time on a stream. Does open you up to accidentally revealing too much about yourself if you get involved in the chat though.

Raocow is an odd guy. By sticking to his formula for years, he managed to stay out of any real drama(or is at least amazing at covering his own ass) and has put out a consistent if somewhat stale product for years. But the guy has completely stagnated his channel growth. He's been doing this for 12 years and only has 30.7k subs. Someone who's been doing this for so long and was part of the SA lp crew should have at least double by now. Obviously he doesn't care about it or he would have done some sort trend chasing by now, but it is kinda nuts to me.

This is just a charity stream donation incentive but considering what usually happens to goons/ex goons this made me laugh for a different reason than most people in the chat, probably.

GENDER IS OVER. But I'm now living as a woman and wear a bra. This happened in 2018 and they have not done much since. Funny how yet again joining the cult prevents you from being able to make content, or at least make the content that you made in the past.

If you want the "LP" experience then other than the odd remaining oldguard the only place you can go is to the Gaming section here for the odd screenshot LP that comes up. That's all that remains of this stupid legacy.

Not really surprising that they largely center on casual kid like games. It's irritating because it is so forced and you can easily tell that they have moved on from what they wanted to do for woke points. At least they are adults (in theroy) when they made the choice. Who cares. Play the game. Be informative, or be entertaining.

One of the better screenshot LPs I remember was the Animal Crossing one that turned into a creative writing exercise. Thought it was fun for the time. The Megaman Battle Network LPs and Drakengard/Nier ones were alright too.

The AC story was a creepy pasta you don't see often, a story inside the game world, not a story about some guy that buys a weird cart of POKEMON PREPARE TO DIE edition at a used book store. Tom Nook didn't show up to kill people with a Wavebird controller.

I know Research Indicates works on history docos for a living in some role but he must of been trolling when he selected that awful bargin bin civil war game as his comeback LP. Learnt something about history at least. Big ups to all the southern content creators sticking to their guns and their roots.
