I don't think I watched a single Voidburger LP. In fact the only Silent Hill LP I ever watched was Kamoc/Bob's CYOA-themed Homecoming LP which as I recall was far more popular than anything VB did despite her being "the Silent Hill person".

Considering how much of her internet presence she's dedicated to talking about SH, it's really really sad how bad Void is at it. She clearly knows a lot about the franchise, but she's the living proof that watching someone talk about a topic they're passionate (or obssessed) about is not always entertaining.

Every month of october for the last couple of years Supergreatfriend has been doing some very casual LPs of each SH game, and it's astonishing how much easier they are to watch than the stuff VB puts out. Dude just sits down and plays through the game while chatting with his audience, every now and then he brings up some random trivia about the series, but it never feels like he's trying to show off or prove he's a Silent Hill Expert™.

It's funny because she wasn't even the first Goon to fucking LP Silent Hill 2. Her only claim to marginal fame on SA was doing the first game first.

She's not even the first to do any of them, a lot of LPers did runs at least a year before her anyway. I mean I guess it was possible she put more detail into her runs than say Niggurath or 19letterslong but I don't remember her LPs being that good.

It's similar to how Slowbeef's LPs were kinda shit. Seriously, his prime playthroughs have DSP energy given how often he got lost in them.

VB's claim to fame is she was one of multiple girls who appeared in retsupuraes that all sounded the same despite one of RP's most common jokes about girl lpers being they all sound the same. People always confused them with each other, people still think she was in chip's Peace Walker LP.

Absolutely justified. I skipped over the first few because I thought it was wall of text territory, but I saw a few choice quotes when skimming and went back to read the whole thing. Every image/quote was gold. This is the type of thing that would make even the worst fanfic writer step back and say "this is too much."

It reminds me of the type of thing a 6 year old would say, making up stories about their Dad being a power ranger and fighting bad guys. To me, the funniest part is how this all apparently took place in Canada of all places. I thought he was trying to imply he was in Ukraine, but apparently, Russia decided to covertly launch an invasion solely to get to this dude. And he was so dedicated to "preventing World War 3" that he had to dispose the bodies. While bragging about it on Discord. Because that's how you conceal highly sensitive information. He can't even keep the details consistent. It was a home invasion and he got shot several times and needed a doctor (then stayed online for several hours posting on Discord) and it was five guys, but wait, he knew seven guys were coming and set up with a sniper rifle yards away and took them all out, but he also stabbed a guy in the face with a butcher knife, then did cool action guy lines to the last surviving guy and let him go as a warning.

IMO: There's something really weird about how SA has attracted an extremely specific type of loser over the years.
