Calling someone accusing someone else of exploiting their kid (for having them on-stream with their father) a moron isn't really "harassment".

It was particularly hypocritical of DHC given that she's a friend of Slowbeef and has made a bunch of videos with him over the years but has never called him out on using his own daughter (and, recently, his son, too) for internet attention, which he does constantly.

From what Proteus was saying earlier in the thread it sounds like he hasn't had direct interaction with VoidBurger.

And Slowbeef and friends didn't have an issue trashing Trump supporters as being evil filth despite doing a podcast with Dave_O in which Dave_O talked about supporting Trump and Slowbeef pretended to be reasonable.
Further back in this thread Proteus also talked about only partially joking when he said to Slowbeef on twitter that he thinks that the reason Slowbeef hasn't invited him to Retsupurae anything in a while is because Slowbeef doesn't want non-PC humour on Retsupurae because of their new SJW fans.

I think Slowbeef will happily throw any of the other Retsupurae people under a bus to make himself more popular (including Diabetus, probably). He already words the descriptions on their videos as if he's the only person making them and he's moving more and more towards making himself an internet personality whilst Retsupurae takes a backseat.

I dont think they'll care that much. Proteus isnt one of them and hadn't been for a while. Retsupurae had been a business venture as far back as like 2012, or earlier. The last time I remember Proteus doing an LP it was a puzzle game, like, crayon puzzler or something.

Retsupurae has changed so much from the "old LP" days that I doubt they would have the sense of camaraderie; it's kind of like if you were to go to your high school reunion and you're like, oh shit, Becky got fat and is a total cunt now! You used to be friends with Becky but it doesnt matter now. It's that sort of thing.

For instance, Slowbeef didnt start shit with Dave O for being a Trump supporter, even though their political identities collided, Slowbeef is mature enough to not make a scene; he'll just realize they arent on the same page anymore and not contact him but he isnt going to punch him in the face or make a "Pity me LOL" tweet over a disagreement in politics.

Basically this. I mean, slowbeef and I are similar in one aspect, we both enjoy drama as spectators, but we don't particularly want to be part of it. He was a low drama moderator on SA (and considering the LP forum was a shitshow most of the time, that's pretty good imo), you can't really do that if you're looking to make a big fucking deal about everything.

I find Retsupurae kind of hilarious because they don't even do fucking video games anymore.
It's become a channel for reviewing low-hanging fruit Kickstarters. And by review I mean 'Slowbeef points out things and states the obvious for 15 minutes straight while Diabetus actually attempts to provide humor inbetween'.
At least when they went for crazy shit like those Dahir whatever videos it was entertaining to watch.

It's just that when it comes to reviewing kickstarter projects, playing the straight man means just pointing out that this obviously terrible and overfunded project is terrible and overfunded.
They still do videogames. They finished Psychic Detective in january, and a bit before that they did D and Snow Job. The thing is, when you compromise to give your viewers two or three videos per week you're definitely gonna need some filler, and that's where the Kickstarter videos come in. And lately they've been relying on them a bit too much.

For me, the problem with the kickstarter videos is that they're extremely hit-or-miss. Some of them, like the terrorist jacket and the Bubble Helmet™ can be actually funny and entertaining. The others are, well, selfie apparel and some middle-aged guys talking awkwardly to a phone's camera.

I watched their LPs for years, they can be pretty clever sometimes. Their "let's play 20 years of sonic" was ambitious as hell and I really appreciated the catharsis of looking at what the hell went wrong with that franchise so in-depth.

I got kind of turned off of them when I was watching their stream once, and one of the guys was discussing the weird encounters that can happen when you're searching for a sex partner on okcupid because of the new open status you have in your relationship with the mother of your baby that was born like 8 months ago.
