Yeah, he seemed to be shooting at the wrong target when he tweeted about the subject. I don't want to fall back on "his girlfriend has him whipped" because that's a cop-out excuse and probably not useful. But I don't doubt Void simply cannot shut up about herself in person any more than she can online, and his ears are probably bleeding from a constant barrage of "waaah, those meanies on the internet are unfairly doing the same twitter-screencapping to me that I like to do to people I don't like!" and the fact that Chip likely doesn't care about any of this one way or another probably means he just takes his girlfriend's words at face value. If your girlfriend came home from a hard day at work and complained to you about the dirty look she got from Debrah in accounting, wouldn't you join your girlfriend and say "you're right honey, Debrah is a bitch" and go back to whatever you were doing?

I think that they're well-aware that people that don't fit the cis white male category dislike them, too.
