Let's Players originating from Something Awful - ft. VoidBurger, General Ironicus, Bob Kamoc

I think that they're well-aware that people that don't fit the cis white male category dislike them, too. They just avoid acknowledging those people (or dismiss them as "Uncle Toms") so that they don't have to surrender their supposed moral authority which they use to justify treating people they don't like like shit.
I think it's part of the same attitude that dictates they never, ever, ever acknowledge their own money/class as being a privilege. Any chinks in the narrative would unravel its momentum.

The fact that she's also a NEET who at this point is likely quite unemployable because she's spent her entire adulthood waiting for a job opportunity "good enough" for a noblewoman like her is also probably a big motivating factor for people who want to laugh at her, because it's very easy to parse the lifelong pattern of never being told no any time she whined to have doors open for her in life and you don't need a fancy booklearnin' psychology degree to see the connection between that and her inability to show any decency to people who don't kiss her ass.

aka Lena Dunham syndrome

Reading the conversations Void is tagged in is an illuminating experience

Jesus, I hope VB hasn't molested any little girls with those giant man hands.
That does remind me, I think she has a retarded younger brother?
Like, actually drooling screaming mentally ill, needs medication and constant supervision, none of that self identified "I'M ON THE SPECTRUM YOU GUYS!!!" internet stuff she and her entourage peddle.

Slowbeef had mentioned (in a retsutalk podcast) that someone put a click-bot or something on Voids Youtube and she couldnt make revenue off it anymore. Dunno how true it is tho

Her Adsense did in fact get disabled by Google for "invalid activity". I remember her bitching about it for a few months. Someone using a clickbot to sabotage her shit was her personal theory. She lost every appeal, so who knows. Personally I don't think anyone gives enough of a fuck about Voidburger to go to such lengths to troll her, but there's actually a precedent for that sort of thing, sometimes by "overzealous fans" (which was one possibility she considered).

The thing about Google AdSense is that they don't give a shit about your account unless you make enough money where losing you as a client would have an impact on Google themselves. If you're earning pennies a day uploading shitty virtue signaling YouTube videos about crap no one cares about, then your content is a dime (literally) a dozen and anything you submit to Google effectively is routed straight into the garbage. Of course she lost all of her appeals, nobody read the fucking things.

edit: also voidburger you suck

I decided to check through Void's imgur account on a lark, and what stood out to me is how well it captures her method of arguing. The bulk of her comments are angry, inflammatory insults on generally anti-SJ pictures - sometimes disregarding the original context. For example, an "Unpopular Opinion Puffin" meme stating the belief that transgendered people are mentally ill. (I'd show it here, but the forum only lets you have 20 images in a single post.)

Not surprisingly, she was offended:

(Yes, she unironically used "wrong side of history".)

Or one of the myriad of comments she made on anti-Ghostbusters reboot pictures:

Compare with the guy immediately above her; even in something as simple as doubting a story, she sounds more obnoxious than she needs to be. (Plus it makes her look foolish when a source is given.)

Other behaviors that are evident from her activity there:

You might remember people throwing a fit about this image because Vivian James is in it.

No surprises there.
Fun fact: the artist replied to the complaints by remarking that she was included to show how people dehumanize groups that they don't like. Sounds familiar, doesn't it?

This image (which I can't post here due to post limitations) was essentially a single joke:
WOMAN ON DEATH ROW:

"What would you like for your last meal?"

"I dunno, what do you want?"

I wouldn't call this a sexist joke, per se - it's low-level observational humor based on traditional gender roles, along the same lines as a joke about how men are slobs. Maybe stereotypical, but hardly offensive.
...
You know where this is going.

I love the last reply.

And just in case you thought she wasn't making a big deal of it:

Another thing on the list: the old stereotype of "EVERYTHING IS SEXIST!" (or racist, or etc.)

1. She doesn't know if the OP or its replies were made by teenagers, and
2. They could easily look up the backstory of the short's creation (especially in modern times), and being young doesn't excuse them from misinterpreting this so badly - but
3. Why do any of you care so much about the heteronormavity of a fucking Pixar short?

This is just one of many.

"Why Feminism doesn't work nowadays":

1. She says this like she doesn't (ab)use strawmen in exactly the same manner, and
2. She certainly likes feeling safe and comfy - you notice how, when she was mocking this thread, she honed in on the easily-mockable parts and ignored all the things that could make her look bad (i.e. the way she thrashed the Muslim woman)?

On a post discussing good, free horror games that mentioned One Late Night:
5917092b63b94c3d5dd7c3718ea6122a.png

On a post that merely mentioned World of Warcraft (and this is one of a few replies of hers, none of which were this snooty):
ca36a2ce996c42a15d9b423d590cc6a6.png

Even on a post innocently remarking on how terrible being in Times Square on New Years' Eve is (from a New Yorker), she has to dissent flagrantly:

Going back to the "Why Feminism doesn't work nowadays" image:

This is why she's OK with people screencapping and mocking JonTron, but not when we do it to her. It's kind of an extension of the olden "Oppression Olympics" concept.

In summation,

VoidBurger quote from BlueChan's imgur screenshots:
Write one about the Statue of Liberty, Mr/Ms Real New Yorker Who Definitely Didn't Move Here From Somewhere Else!
I love the hypocrisy in VoidBurger, who rants incessently about people who don't want refugees flooding the west being evil bigots, getting offended at someone she thinks is an outsider criticizing her home city and then uses "you aren't from here, your opinion doesn't matter!" as an argument.

VoidBurger has mentioned a few times that she used to be on 4chan's /b/ board a lot when she was younger, and she said something in response to one of the weird fanfictions (screenshots a few pages back) posted at her on twitter that she knows from personal experience that moving away for college opens the mind or whatever.

Is VoidBurger secretly a racist xenophobe who compensates by being a toxic SJW?
Is she the leftist equivalent of the anti-gay politician that eventually gets caught with his dick up a gay escort's ass?

I don't think so, I think she's just a typical upper-class white person who believes strongly in NIMBY.

Don't blame on racism what can much more easily be blamed on classism. :)
