I don't know either, but I'm willing to bet it's WELL under a grand. I'd guess a couple hundred bucks each at best.

Slowbeef has no standards and will debase himself for meager amounts of cash, as evident by him pinning the tweet of him shilling those Snatcher shirts to the top of his twitter.

I'm not sure he'll ever tell, but I'm guessing about $300 dollars split between him and Diabetus.

That's a really piddling amount of money to sell your brand and reputation out for. I mean, I get he probably doesn't make too much money off of his normal videos but a couple hundred dollars for your integrity is kind of pathetic. I mean, he's employed and stuff right?

I only am annoyed because this is basically a 180 over what they said for years, and even then I would've been fine if it was for a game that was genuinely something that the Beef and Beetus liked. But no; it was for a clone of a game they shat on for years. That Beef then used his own sprogs for it was also horrible.

Speaking of horrible; his idea to mimick DSP for two hours was anti-funny. The big reason the day in the life of DSP video was great was it was crisp, short, and to the point. That one was longwinded and basically was throwing rocks at glass houses considering how he's turning into him when it comes to money and when it comes to sour grapes.

I only just noticed but most of this garbage is ending up on slowbeef's personal channel. Something tells me that backlash would have been a lot bigger on the actual retsupurae channel, especially with all of slowbeef's new crowd of sycophants coming out to say "I love this new shitty and hypocritical material! That was the worst part for me. It seemed like he was trying to make out the child exploitation to be ironic, but he has a history of using them to bring in views and donations on twitch, so it clearly isn't a joke. He knows that he'll be successful using them for profit.

I kind of feel that that's also the reason he brought in Diabetus on this video series, too: he knows he isn't funny on his own and needs Diabetus there riffing with him or the humour will fall flat.

I really hope Diabetus got half of whatever the amount of money was, though my cynical side is thinking Slowbeef got the lion's share.

Weirdly, he changed their names from all-caps to lowercase instead of just straight copy and pasting. I wonder if he was trying to hide the fact that he got the transcripts from here? Or maybe I'm over-thinking it and he just thought the names looked weird capitalized.

This is absolutely fucking depressing. Even Betus is stooping to this level (albeit somewhat reluctantly, from the tone of his voice.) I used to like the fact that these guys went out of their way to call out the sellout assholes, but now..... it's like watching a child be a prodigy of, say, basketball reach the age of 19 and commit to a career in cheese making. Utterly miserable.
