I wouldn't say other "queer spaces" aren't real as much as there is a different flavor. At the very least we're not going to feign sensitivity here, you can be authentic and genuine in that specific regard, but that alone doesn't make this a 'supreme' space to others. There really isn't such a thing. We are not 'the real ones' or 'the good ones.' No matter where we go, we'll always be just what we are. It's more elbow room to think critically where you need it, when you need it. Piecing together different spaces in different places to expand your individual perspective is a wonderful way to gain new ideas, open new doors, and think of new possibilities. None of these places are perfect, maybe not all of them offer something useful, or maybe one even appears to be too good to be true. It's up to you. Choose wisely.
