Based mindset, cringe practice. I'd love it if all of these eaters around me left me alone. Love it if their entitled selfish voting had zero power over me and my rights. Love it if the government stopped inventing new social engineering programs and stealing my money to do it. It'd be wonderful if the freedom of association acted like a physical bubble that didn't force me into contact with hideous freaks I never want to see.

None of those things is ever going to happen. Pretending as if you could arrange a stable society around those principles is hilarious. The only people who get serious about living by them act like weird preppers on the internet, obsessed with their bugout kits and sand water filters and pretending like they're living in the Fallout universe.

I like my air conditioning and easy access to buy cheap shit online far too much to give a shit about goofy "ideal societies". Communists obsess over it too, and they're cringe as fuck.

Most people seem to think their federal, state, and local governments should all be the same dot on the compass. In the US my optimal situation is a libertarian federal government, and states / cities / weirdo communes with wildly varying governance styles. I would choose to live in a city with robust public infrastructure, with the knowledge that if I get sick of the hustle and bustle and exposed brick I can move to the sticks and shoot guns.

Anyways, as time goes on I lean towards cringe. Libertarianism is just right wing version of communism in that it never fucking works and just leads to the worse of humanity being in charge. It's a laudable concept, but so is equality.

Not entirely sure what you mean, but I think that's my point. Libertarianism (on the federal level) is the only political position compatible with the differences between USA's states and cities. Any more restrictive one-size-fits-all solution will result in failure in one place or another.

I meat that a lot of the "let's move factories to third world countries/let's stop mining/growing and just import" is done because the big states have their own entertainment/hi tech/tourism industries so they don't suffer from the change and only reduce their costs. Though in this case is more the democratic system being broken that too much/little government interference.

I have a very libertarian friend. While otherwise intelligent, in regards to politics libertarians are mentally stunted. This is their thought process of being libertarian.
1. America is objectively the greatest country in the world.

When asked how libertarianism works if the motives of the feds and corpos are aligned they act like they literally can't hear you. When told that personal liberties are what allows trannys to cut their dick off they disregard it. They literally can not comprehend motive beyond profit incentive. When explained that without being paired with a sense of community, profit incentive naturally leads to greed promoting policy they throw their hands in the air and go, "trump has a plan for that" when asked what they are going to do in 2028 after trump cant run again. They say he will simply endorse somebody like his son. When told that this is essentially a monarchy then and evidence that the government system as it is is fundamentally flawed. their nose will start bleeding and they will have a epileptic seizure because their NPC brains short circuited.

I REALLY REALLY REALLY hope biden wins a second term.. just as a fuck you. I can't wait for all the boomers and libertarians to be finally be like "OH there is no political solution."

The first is bad enough but the second is almost enough to ensure that when you say you are an ancap, you jave tried to hook up with underage SEAsian girls at one point or another. Niggers don't wven have enough class to just go with East Asian women. At least Japanese, Korean and Chinese women aren't from 3rd world shitholes.

To add onto this: unchecked crony capitalism is what the most HELLISH authoritarian regimes in SE/East Asia like Thailand, Vietnam, China, Indonesia, and the Philippines operate under.

“Real” capitalism to these people is about as real to us as “real” socialism.

It's also the ultimate way to stand on the sidelines but pretend you hold the moral high ground. The insitutional left that runs our society basically treat liberatarians as harmless goofballs. Most libertarians I run into are insufferable and their whole bullshit really just nails down to them trying to justify their shitty behaviour with "just let people do whatever they want bro". I don't like the government either but it's funny seeing libertarians get tread on while they do nothing about it because their "ideology" is just a 13-year-old's mindset. A good recent example was the ATF ruling on pistol stabilising braces, all the libertarians online were up in arms about it saying that they weren't going to comply but the irony is that they were already complying with unconstitutional laws by not just having a short barrelled rifle. You were already being tread on fuckwits.

TLDR libertarianism is gay.
