She may have been an autistic crazy Russian, but my God did she love America.
god damn, I hate ayn rand and objectivism. I remember kids reading it in undergrad and going around being dickbags to people, embracing being a Randroid. I really can’t find anything redeeming in her books.

She's been seen as an extremist and rightly criticized. There are some valid concerns brought up in her books, interesting themes that hold literary value if nothing else.
