What an actually terrible idea. Microfiber is prone to building up a static charge from movement, that's what makes it pretty nice for cleaning - the charge helps draw in dust and debris. The problem with that is it makes for shitty clothing because you become a living lint and dust magnet, that thing will get filthy fast. Its also bad for tech, because if your shirt builds up a static charge, congrats, you're now wearing a static cap that'll want to discharge into the first electronic you work with today.
