Not to powerlevel myself, but I work at a company which booth he came by once to do a video. He's not a massive dick to people, but you quickly get the feeling that his on-screen persona is an act and it's all-business for him (naturally.) Of course he'd at least be cordial to people he's doing business with (at least in public.)

I can imagine he would not be a raging dick to people in public. All of the things people have said, are more about how he misuses and abuses professional connections. Linus would not kick a retard. What he would do is try to guilt trip you in to doing his donkey work and then expect you to be paid in exposure. Using debate bro tactics to gaslight you in to thinking you are doing something wrong when you stand up and call his ass out for it.

I stopped watching LTT a couple years ago, before the first take down by GN, because Linus became kind of insufferable. It’s like he expected the prestige and respect of being a Respected Media Publication but the plausible deniability of being just a lil’ dude making fun vids with his fun friends.

it's just SHOCKINGLY poorly visible in general. some stuff can be kind of interesting since they got that 3d xray scanner. in written form, the data is infinitely more accessible than gamersnexus' screenshots of video graphs. of course you are required to question the accuracy due to LTT being LTT. but their latency testing and such for peripherals seems to agree with other outlets like rtings.

I looked through a few and didn't notice any use of the 3dxray or half the other bullshit he wasted money on.
Most of this is stuff all hardware reviewers do without wasting even half of the money he spent. The formatting of the site and presentation is nice though.
