The most baffling thing to me is how absolutely everything has to revolve around their troonery, normal people don't pick a screwdriver or pliers for their toolkit based on if it validates them. Such is the way of AGP trannoids though, I guess.

Linus mentioned in the past he pays his kids to be in videos, framed as a *good thing* because he doesn't exploit them like family vlog channels do to their kids.
But I have to wonder as a teenager, whether your allowance being contingent on doing paid product placement for your dad is a good thing.

To be fair, if I were a teen, I'd probably want a Switch 2 instead of a Steam Deck or that upcoming Asus ROG xbox thing, because it's the popular thing with kids. Kids care more about social standing than about actually having the best or most cost-effective stuff, which is why they all want Apple products instead of like a used Google Pixel and some Samsung Galaxy Buds.

Besides, his dad's been giving him WAY better PCs for close to a decade now. What good is a Steam Deck when you have a 5090 and an Ultra 9 with 256gb of RAM (all of which were sent to your dad's company as "review samples") in your bedroom PC and you only leave the house for badminton practice and your government-mandated indoctrination?

The Switch has Fortnite, and as for Roblox, its userbase is 60% adults who want to groom kids, 30% 20-something adults who grew up with the game, and 5% federal agents.

Plus, like I said, even if he does want to play Fortnite and Roblox, he's the son of THE tech shill, I guarantee you 100% he has a PC that absolutely destroys anything you can get in a desktop form factor, and Roblox is always-online, so it doesn't really benefit from a handheld like the Steam Deck the way single-player games do. For his kid's purposes, I reckon the Switch 2 is just the better value proposition because it can play Nintendo-exclusive games that all of Linus's $10k PCs (currently) can't.

I figured the entire point was to look at this from a portability standpoint ( I didn't watch the video). Who would want any handheld to just sit at home and play on a tiny screen? I guess since I wasn't raised on phone gaming I cannot comprehend it.
 
Linus still avoiding the switch 2 display issues with cope vids like this. Its a provable fact the Switch 2 had a worse display then even the Switch 1 in some aspects yet in his review he called the display "crisp and fast" despite having worse ghosting then the Switch 1. The fact that him as a PC focused channels (where monitors are regular judged by single ms differences) couldn't see this is embarrassing and moving the goal post to "well kids like the Switch 2 as it has Mario and Fortnite is embarrassing". LTT is not a nintendo family channel he's supposedly a hard core PC channel which does real testing.

Linus seems like the kind of guy who'd tell his kids to come out and spend time with the family in the living room, then just let them rot away on portable devices on the couch - Its ok because the family is all together here, though.

So two weeks ago I ordered the new swim shorts from LTTStore, and ended up getting the "elusive Breadsaurus pattern" but I'm not really into the Breadsaurus meme, the circuit pattern is the one I really liked and was hoping for. On top of that it also ended up being a little big for me at size XXL. Instead of hanging on to it I figured maybe there is someone here who'd like to have it and allow me to recoup some of my loss. I'm not looking to make any profit on this. I'll eat the shipping costs I paid to get it delivered to the EU and would be happy to ship it to someone else at store price including tax (€ 70.89) plus whatever it would cost to ship it to you.


Hopefully this is allowed here, I didn't see anything in the rules against it, I apologize in advance if this is not the place.
