Linus has often shittalked about Steve to many in the business. The root of it seems not to be Steve's videos on the merchfails but that Steve is seen by the more savvy enthusiasts as much more technically competent and doing a good job sciencing different product types with his own lab. Linus is very jealous of Steve getting that audience mindshare locked up for the general/gaming space.

It's probably because they did what post people do. They looked past all the negatives to find the positives. He was knowledgeable to an extent in tech and computers. My city has a gay district and they used to fly the ugly triangle pride flag under the American flag and state flag in the little park/central square that they host like free concerts and food truck days and shit in. The flags were recently damaged in a storm and the city replaced them but replaced the wedge pride flag with the regular rainbow. I've also seen gay bars and "In this house we..." type coffeshops quietly take them down and replace them with the old rainbow version in the same neighborhood.

The winds of change are blowing strong enough that not even the flags are safe!

Yeah, the more I look at this, the more it seems Linus stepping down as CEO was a preventive measure against this. No studies, but I do know of anecdotes of trannies hitting the gym and losing weight and "somehow" their "dysphoria" improves. So it's likely there's something there.

On the other hand, if the guy trooned out for kink purposes. AKA, if the autogynephilia was already there before the grooming, no amount of testosterone is going to fix them. Hell, these guys are usually pretty high-T to begin with, just complete degenerates trying to muscle in on women.
