Linus Gabriel Sebastian & Linus Media Group / Linus Tech Tips - Narcissistic corporate shill YouTuber driving his media empire into the ground. KILL COUNT: 2

"you can keep it" implies a full transfer of ownership
To be pedantic, (and supported by above) giving something away is literally the opposite of "keeping it."

I agree that I don't think we saw what the original agreement between the two companies actually said, nor is any lawsuit happening to formally prove theft, but pretty much everyone can infer it from them being caught with their pants down. Furthermore, when they failed to send it back as agreed, promissory estoppel.

I recall two years ago where a local radio show had a particularly hilarious episode and names of private individuals were dropped. I watched it again a few weeks later. Same URL, but the namedrops were removed. So it looks to me like any channel with a large enough following gets something like this.
If anyone remembers Egoraptor's Awesome Chaotix vid, he says "nigs" one or two times in it. I think as early as 2020 he removed those lines from the vid.
>Taran confirms on twitter Madison told him all that a year ago before she quit
>Taran is back as manager
My autistic headcanon is that Linus wanted to shut him up and he used this to get a bit of bonus cash for the job lol

Speaking of Madison, she went completely silent on social media after her tweets, waited to see how the situation will develop (best move in the legal sense of everything)
but it seems she completely gave up:

The subreddit banned the Madison topic, people will slowly forget about it, "It's being investigated by a third party", she's in a different country now and she's a literal who, this will be absolutely erased from history and they didn't specifically address it in their apologies so fans retroactively don't ask questions and look it up.
Is this the first big subreddit to not #believeallwomen? Very surprise. Guess they're certified chuds now.

New GN just dropped.
The video is now private. I was 29 minutes into it when the playback stopped abruptly.

New GN just dropped.
Here's the section of the video pertaining to LMG, and the list of No Contact criteria on GN's website, with the ones applying to LMG marked for reference.
Also, they privated the video while I was in the middle of posting.

Edit: I still have this video in an open tab and it seems to be playing through fine. Anyone know how I can download this? He's vaguing LTT later on as well, talking about parasocial relationships and viewer bias regarding YouTubers vs. review websites.

Screen record if jdownloader doesn't work

I'm sure some autists here will pick apart the video in more detail but one thing that stood out to me is that as of this year, no alcohol at company events and no alcohol at work-sponsored employee-organized events as mandated by insurance company. Was BPD retard groped at an alcohol-fueled company event

I am still very, very curious about this point. It's an odd detail to volunteer when nobody had been discussing it. That could have easily been "striving to increase the degree of professionalism present in both the workplace and at non-work team functions" in corporate speak and nobody would have known or cared. And while most people still don't care I for one would like to know more about the kind of Christmas party debauchery that might have prompted this inclusion.

I just realized what a shit premise the new video is.
He isn't getting called into the office. By the state of the company, he literally cannot be fired. That's what should probably happen, but once again, he made himself unfuckwithable.

I'm also surprised he showed that fucking controller again.

All the changes they're committing to are things they could have done before but chose not to. The one on one "boss breathing down your neck" meetings are likely meant to avoid employees and ex-employees going public.

Also, no commitment to not doing dropsies for comedy.

Christmas party pile needs to go. Every tech job I worked you had to buy things same as a customer, you didn't stick shit in the back to get "discounted". If you did you got to experience mandatory termination. It still happened, sales idiots would walk into the tech shop and put an iPod on one of our benches like it was a magic "hold". My manager would gladly light them the fuck up.

Funny enough, that's what happened with the fucking plaque. Linus had to bid like an everyday plebe. So, Scam fuckburg NCIX was more properly managed than LTT.

Linus is a corpo, but it seems like he's being dragged into it kicking and screaming autistically.

"Nigs" is still in there

Here it is. Audio sync is fucked because AMD. Not waiting another hour to re-record
Wonderful, thank you!
Here are the stats (as of when I loaded the page) and description also, for posterity:

No sponsor. Check out our https://gamers.nexus/ site for the written version of the policies! This will serve as a long-standing guide to the way we operate, what our goals are, and why we work the way we do. We wanted to fully publish a complete 'book' on how we operate. These are guidelines we've followed internally for a long time, but doing this publicly allowed us to properly formalize it. This helps not only offer visibility for the audience into our mindset and processes, but also helps us remain consistent and build a roadmap for the team in the future as to what we do in each scenario. It offers a few updates on near-term roadmap/plans while also explaining our objectives when reporting on different types of entities. We talk about our (long-held) policies on Contact vs. No Contact prior to a story, alongside case studies of real scenarios (and examples of fake scenarios) to make everything easy to follow.

LMG is discussed in chapters "15:39 - Case Study: LMG (No Contact)" and "23:56 - Stance & Scope for Press, Media, Creators". The closing remarks in "44:35 - Wrap" might also be directed at LMG.

Interesting timing is all I'll say. What's the over/under on someone from LTT reaching out and asking them to do this?

LTT staff run subreddit.

Noticed the amount of spam that was flooding reddit keywording linus has died down and some removed.

All part of PR response.

Notice how one subject hit home the most with what happened at camp guy.

Our mental health lol. Staff were joking about this regularly.

This obsession with "mental health" seems bizarre to me. Not that therapy can't be helpful in specific circumstances, but in America it seems like everyone has a therapist they go to regularly and people are still retarded and/or lunatics anyway; far more so than the people I'm around IRL who never heard of therapy.
What do they even talk about? Someone who works for Linus is probably in the 5% of most privileged and coddled people in the collective west.

"I was too much of a wuss to say what I thought was right and now I'm sad" - "Being sad is valid, use your medication to decompress and don't feel like you need to grow up! Always remember to act on impulse and externalize failures!!!" -- Something like this?

The average American is not as well represented by extremely liberal Canadian e-celebs as you think they are. The only people I know who go to therapy, or have gone to therapy, do it for specific reasons. They're going through a terrible divorce. They just lost a loved one tragically. They're a combat vet who has PTSD. I'm sure if you go to the US equivalents of Vancouver like Seattle you'll find a lot more people who go to just to talk to hucksters to take their money, but that hasn't been my experience in the rest of the country. More people than I know might go, but it's something private.

Foreigners confusing the US and Canada while thinking the US is exclusively made up of niggers and terminally addicted redditors/tweeters will never not make me chuckle considering the stereotype of the Ugly American.

This isn't how things work. If you give up possession of something and then you request it back, even if I give you a verbal agreement of giving it back it doesn't mean there's any obligation to do so.
You mean if I gave a verbal/email agreement to give you something, there isn't any obligation to do so? Or does the thing being originally yours negate said obligation?
Isn't the main point of individuals/companies coming to formal agreements to create said obligation, so business, operating and financial plans can be made?
