Linus Gabriel Sebastian & Linus Media Group / Linus Tech Tips - Narcissistic corporate shill YouTuber driving his media empire into the ground. KILL COUNT: 2

I thought this was just going to be Linus listing project ideas at first, but he's already picked out a boat (touring it next week), has company buy-in, and sounds like he can delegate a lot of the project to Dan and the less retarded engineers. I give it a >90% chance of happening.

And honestly, my gut says that even if retooling the boat ends up being a disaster, it is probably a viable way to renew interest in his channel and get other YouTubers to talk about him again (and visit his boat). So many of his videos rn are low-effort 'reacting to reddit' slop, this would at the very least generate some original videos again.

The standard tech on a modern superyacht is far more advanced than anything Linus has ever done. Modern yachts (i.e. not that over 30 year old yacht) are already equipped with all the "smart home" stuff and more.

Linus would be doing the boat equivalent of installing a touchscreen head unit in a 90s car, which always suck compared to modern factory infotainment.

Also, that yacht has an 8,000 gallon fuel tank. How much you want to bet that Linus will leave it docked and running off of shore power because he's too cheap/can't afford to actually sail the boat.

Linus, I don't want you to stop, I don't even want you to heed warnings, I just need to get this out. A van is different from a building but easy enough to customize; but aircraft and seacraft are different as they very much have weight/balance issues that go into them functioning properly. Your stable of tards, even the best of them, will not properly do this. That aside, I await the video and want to see you sink this fucking thing.

Not sure if Yachts are like RVs, but if they are, all of the stuff is proprietary. I'm not sure where the "Tips" are here when he's basically just rebuilding a yacht.

Power is probably the biggest issue he's going to run into. He's not going to be replacing the generators on-board and I have to assume the power budget he'll have to work with will be limiting. Even if he tears out and replaces all the existing battery infrastructure, the effective runtime is never going to accommodate going as far as he'll want.

To his credit, he did mention power being an issue, though I don't think there's an obvious solution that will still allow for his gaming boat chartering company idea to be feasible. Maybe I'm off on my assumptions though, if he's only chartering for 2-day voyages for example, the math probably works a bit better.

The loose outline he presented in the WAN show was to have various ports of call they'd moor their fleet of LTT gamer yachts in for a month or so at a time to charter them out, and then rotate them around the globe. So far specifying the markets of: Vancouver, South Korea, and the US/CA East Coast.

Now, correct me if I'm wrong, but either that'll need 3 yachts, or else Linus'll be hiring someone to sail from Vancouver to Seoul, across that small patch of water known as the Pacific Ocean, about 8000 km.

Good news is that the fastest yacht, the Bolide 80, can do 73 knots from 6000 horsepower, or about 135 kph, so it would only be about 60 or so hours from Vancouver to Seoul at full speed, assuming the Pacific Ocean is dead flat.

(Also ignoring the fact that said yacht is about 8 million dollars. And has a range of 240 nautical miles at cruise speed.)

Yachts the size of the one Linus wants don't sail across oceans on their own power. Instead, they're transported on a cargo ship because it's a lot less risky:

The 123' one he's looking at would probably take 2-3 weeks to be sailed across the Pacific, that's not uncommon for mega yachts, they usually travel seasonally. Though there's zero chance he'd maintain a dedicated Korean crew, so it would just be whatever Indians he hires in Vancouver onboard for the voyage.

The implication was this first yacht was going to be a proof of concept, and if it's successful they'd scale with more, though in addition to this gaming yacht flagship there may be smaller boats as well that are more attainable to rent (think a pontoon boat with 4 gaming laptops strapped to a table onboard).

Outside of streamer bait, who is this for? No seriously, who is this for? Old rich dudes aren't into gamer shit; the barely 18 year olds they invite onto said yachts aren't into gamer shit; and Linus wants more than one to charter them out? Nigger, just fucking invest in a carnival cruise line or some shit. If I wasn't a suspicious person I'd accuse him of buying assets and then trying to hide them away from North America for when the bankruptcy comes. I had plenty to say about him buying real estate in the fucking balloon that is modern day real estate and the insanity that is Vancouver, but what's his fucking angle here? If you need to get rid of money that fucking hard, shoot me a few million.

Theo Theory; he knows the bankruptcy is coming, he's asseting out what he can, and when it comes, Yvonne is gonna take the kids and go to CCP Land with as much as she can while he takes the hit.

This is a bad combination of people. They increase the insufferability of each other. I haven't seen a late night clip in years. I forgot how utterly shit it is.
to be fair; while Jimmy Fallon's "comedy" is low tier slop for normies, he's also easily the least obnoxious and least political of the late night tv hosts

kind of like LTT, excepting those cases when they choose to platform radical marxist gender ideology in the form of grotesque troons like tranthony and their other various gender mutants

I didn't know bitwit even still made videos.
I always read his name as Bi Twit and chuckle to myself, and continue to have never watched one of his videos.

Don't warn the faggot, you might prevent his hilarious and much-needed death in an easily-preventable mishap.

Not saying this is the most egregious error ever, but it's just more proof LTT never ditched the "fuck research, just go film something and say whatever you want" mentality that got them in hot water during the Gamers Nexus drama. Being too lazy to even read the documentation that came with it isn't a good look.
be nice to them. its not like they have an entire laboratory to test shit and not put whatever shit the troon on faggot on board that day could write

Linus adjacent: Steve filling lawsuit against honey and paypal. Seems like a waste of a lot of money to me.

Only if PayPal WANTS the publicity from going to court against influencers they screwed, which is highly unlikely as the value their reputation and will bury any scandal that might show the general public how shady they really are.

I don't think the average person cares about influencers, or care that they got link jacked as long as they still got their discount.
