List of good games that can run on integrated graphics

Not sure how it compares to what intel can do but I've had good success with my Ryzen 7 laptop with Vega 10, some recent games I've played

- Sleeping Dogs
- Borderlands 2 and pre-sequel
- Super Hot
- GTA V
- Arkham Asylum
- Oblivion/Skyrim/Fallout 3

Most games from a couple of years ago or more should do ok, though you might need to mess around with the settings to get a good frame rate. Anything from 5-10 years ago or older you should have no problem with.

I'm living off of a gifted old laptop right now. As others said, Recettear is good. I also liked Chantelise and Duo Princess. Bear in mind there's no English patch for that one and it's not on Steam. But it's also by Easy Game Station and is probably the closest thing we'll ever get to a sequel for Threads of Fate.

The older Ys games on Steam.

I don't play many games outside of RPGs, VNs, action RPGs and Touhou though. as it was said up thread you shouldn't have issues with even the newest Touhou shooters. Some are harder than others. But they are all rather difficult in general. Easy modo in Unconnected Marketeers is stupid easy with the right cards though. A child could probably finish it. If you have frustration and just want to play something that's a good time waster.

Any 2D side scroller/platformer works. The Trine series is pretty easy on the gpu though that's 3D.

Not always. I got barely 20 fps on some when I PC gamed exclusively on the 2010 Celeron craptop. You don't expect 2D games to be demanding for anything, but this expectation is inaccurate. I got a higher fps in Skyrim on medium back then than I did in some of the more effect heavy 2D games.

I only got above 20 fps in Skyrim because of intense ini editing. You'd be amazed how well something runs when you remove a bit of grass. Some games are just unoptimized messes like the original Binding of Isaac.

I played these on a Vega 8.
- Grim Dawn with low details and/or drop to 720p.
- Endless Legend - same deal
- Tomb Raider Legend
- Dragon Age Origins

Emulation is a pretty big way to expand your library of games, even on underpowered hardware.
Integrated graphics can go all the way up to the N64/PSX era of games for certain. Maybe PS2 if you're lucky, but I have no experience using iGPU on anything past the N64. Dolphin might be optimized, but I'm not sure of how that performs on iGPUs either.

Just make sure to get emulators that aren't sticklers about accuracy, try to find ones focused more on having good gameplay.

There are a vast number of older CRPGs that are worth playing. My favorite is Fallout 2, which is objectively better than the first one.
If Fallout had someone able to mod in the engine changes they made for 2 (being able to push NPCs, free trading with party members, Friend or Foe being a feature and not a fucking perk pick(!!!) etc), then I'd struggle to agree. As there isn't though, at least as far as I'm aware, I'd have to concede that.

Integrated graphics can be pretty good nowadays. The integrated graphics of my 2400G handles PS3 emulation for Demon's Souls.

I can run many games. but my friends are poorfags and I want some games I can share with them on a flash drive
Start pirating GOG installers and get to work. I have an old shitty computer around here with an Intel Q45

You would be surprised about what shitty computers can play as long as you drop everything to low and deal with it being laggy. My main computer's motherboard blew a cap and I played through the entire new Shadowrun trilogy on that old piece of shit while I was waiting for parts to come in.

Finna necro the hell out of this thread.

To anyone who sees this in the torrent years from now: play Zeroranger, for fuck's sake. It's vulgarly based. It will also probably run on your neural implant's integrated graphics extremely well and won't cook your brain like elder scrolls 6 will.

The Ishiiruka fork of Dolphin is meant for older iGPUs and low power systems, it works great.

A decent rule of thumb would be that anything from 2004 or earlier can be played on a current $400 laptop. By being incredibly aggressive with the settings and resolution most everything up to now can run, it might be a bit painful to play but it works.

it's truly wonderful how optimized the better emulators are getting. I rigged up that new zelda on cemu to run at nearly switch settings on a second gen i5 and 750ti. It maybe dropped frames slightly worse than a switch copy would, but was overall quite playable.

PSP emulation seems to be surprisingly potato-friendly, too

I'm using a damn gt710 and so far can run Mass Effect 3 with minimal fps dips although i have 8GB RAM.
can run SimCity 2015 and skylines too but i can't make my city too big.
Sims 3 runs fine considering it's sims 3 so all the fuckery starts after a few routing issues and not graphical issues.

SWAT4.
Sven-Coop.
No More Room in Hell.

Warface.
Crysis 2 but 3 and 1 dips.

Everything from this list:
Not sure about file size. Basing this on personal experience from 10 years ago. If my craptop from back then can run these, I'm sure it'll be fine. Was able to play F.E.A.R. on high settings at 60 FPS on that thing for some reason.

Nice list, nigga.
A GT710 is nowhere near as powerful as a 2020+ integrated graphics cpu mind you, it's literally meant for crappy ass servers to have a basic rendering without taxing the main cpu. at least it was cheap so i have no qualms about it.
