10 - Rush
Aren't you cool? The debut Rush album is in your top 10. You can now list any album in any order and nobody can say SHIT. you're a true and honest "Rush-Head".
nobody cares about the first Rush album. this is the truly best Rush thing.
9 - Caress of Steel
You'll come back to this album for Fountain of Lamneth. Bastille Day is recognisable. If you're a rush/tolkien fag and you havent heard this album you'll appreciate The Necromancer, then you should kill youself
8 - Permanent Waves
Spirit of Radio leads to one of the 100 songs of the century. the album falls apart shortly afterward
7 Hemispheres
Has La Villa Strangiato, one of the 100 songs of the century, plus the trees song I guess
6. 2112
should have released as a one song single
5,Fly By Night
The most album-y album. Very cool if you like 70's rock and appreciate single take recordings. also has the dungeons and dragons meme that meant something once
4 Moving Pictures
The next best. Has that song from Futurama
3, A Farewell to Kings
Recorded in one take. First 3 songs some of their best, turn it off afterwards
2 Signals
Subdivisions carries this album just because it sets the tone for the best gay 80's experimential departure. One of their most solid albums and marks the end of the "classic" Rush era and sets the stage for future disappointments.
