Nobody wants to go to trial. But if I have $75,000, they know I can.
 
I donated $50. However the total only appears to have raised by $30. (it was on XXX84, then it jumped to XXX14 - can't remember the exact numbers)

My feedback is that you should include Liz Fong Jones' "consent accident": any newbies looking at the fundraiser for the lawsuit need to know the extent of information he wants disappeared from the internet, and thus his true motivation for his war on kiwi farms.

A small part of me thinks the same (harden infrastructure, etc.) but the rest of me knows it's the principle of the thing. Even my girl who only knows kf and Josh because I listen sometimes while working, even she is saying "fuck these people, donate". It feels like the just thing to do, I want at the very least to shine a light on these creatures' behavior.

If he somehow wins this thing, my goodness. We don't live in a fair society, the absolutely vile and corrupt run all of our institutions and can excise anyone they feel like from society based on a whim or an email from a degenerate. This feels like a fight against them and so I feel good about it.

Honestly if he wants to I don't care. This site is his job and he needs calories to convert into javascript like everyone else. But if people want to be assured he isn't, he can't just spend the payments made to the law office on coke or online casino spins, since those are held in trust and yanking them would be a pain in the ass.
 
Realized i had some Prepaid Visa Cards that have been in my wallet for a while..so may as well donate them to the fund as well a few more bucks heading your way Null.
 
If I thought $75,000 would fix the site forever without suing anyone I would spend it on that. It is unironically cheaper to try and sue LFJ than it is to build a datacenter and lay miles of fiber. Like, trust me, I don't assume litigation as a primary course of action.

I do have a plan in the next few months to stabilize the hosting situation. I don't know if I've discussed this but the current plugging-shit-in saga will end soon.

We have to do something. So much is on the line, it goes way beyond the Farms.

Even if we don't win, we shouldn't make it easy for them.
