Pretty much this, you're going after someone in a court system that you KNOW will react negatively to you and people like you, why not just use the donations to make the site better.

If he gets Epik to retract what they said publicly, it helps the site stay up. He can use that win against people in the future who think he's just a pushover when it comes to defamation. It will make it harder for retards like Liz Fong Jones to de-platform the site and make others reconsider telling lies about it for fear he'll go after them next.

At some point a decision has to be made, agree with it or not. I personally think this will end in disappointment or maybe even heartbreak but the call has been made and we will answer it. Fighting a losing battle is the right choice sometimes, I can see how that is the case here.
