The difference between private operators, utilities and government functions are such a pain in the ass. I hate it. The monopoly thing sucks, I was always taught that a free market with competition was best. But we don't have that. There's no anti-trust anymore. Can a website ban someone they don't like? Yes. Can an electric company ban you from service if they don't like you? Maybe, but there should be options. Universal deplatforming is a systemic failure to me.

FYI, rejection by payment processors has little, if anything, to do with KF’s content. Apparently paypigs have a high chargeback/fraud claim rate — every genius who donates to an e-thot on OF claims fraud when his girlfriend sees the credit card bill. Even though the processor knows he’s lying, they have to investigate and replace his funds anyway, which takes a lot of resources. So payment processors have started doing bans on anything involving payments to independent content creators or funding drives not on a bigger platform that can cover chargebacks.
