The story: a couple of young guys shared an apartment in a shitty house in the San Fran area of the late 80's. Next door lived a couple of old drunks who would constantly fight each other at all hours. Since this was a shitty house, the walls were paper thin and the younger guys could hear everything.

So, the decided to make some Lemonade from their lemons and record the shenanigans from next door for their friends to enjoy.

Thus, the "SHUT UP, LITTLE MAN!" saga was born.

("The Girl" is in reference to a large stuffed rabbit that one of these idiots kept)

The misadventures spawned it's own comic.

A puppet show.

A song by DEVO.

AND a movie.

It is a strange tale of not one but two idiots living together, with no trolling made, and yet these two became LOLcow Legends, simply by doing what they do normally.

More fun to be enjoyed at the official "SHUT UP LITTLE MAN!" website:

I remember this from years and years ago, although I don't think this really belongs in this particular subforum because it's obviously not ongoing.

do one on the bum bar bastards (tube bar) next

I love these recordings. Been a fan for years. The best part is that Peter was a flamboyant gay man and Raymond was a homophobic redneck. They really were the ultimate odd couple.

I found a few of of them on youtube and here are some of my favorites:
