Not exactly the same, but on Mumsnet they let you change your username as many times as you want and other users can't see your name change history. You can post in the "30 days only" section and your thread will be automatically deleted after a month. You can also have the thread removed sooner if you report the first post and say it contains personal information. There are no avatars.Great thing about anonymity was that you could have advice and health threads. I don't think those could work here even if people have taken proper steps to keep their info safe. Not having a name/avatar attached to you feels a lot safer.
The Mumsnet userbase skews older than lc but it means you get a lot of good advice from people who have been there themselves or are professionals. They also have a lot more users so you tend to get a lot of responses quickly.
It's basically like r/relationships with a throwaway account except they don't hate women. The name and front page are a bit misleading as it's not all about parenting and you can post about anything.
