Rereading through ED again I noticed that many of the lulzcows on there have at least one odd sexual quirk. This can range from inflation, pedophilia, vore, etc. This makes me wonder, is this just a coincidence?
 
I don't think so. I think that people who are likely to have the "eccentries" of everyday life are likely to have somethig equally as out of the ordinary in their personal life.

Only in an incidental manner. A key component of a lolcow is to be "weird" in some way (and yes, weird is by definition highly subjective) but It is far from being the only component. If it were this subforum would be awash with a veritable legion of scatfreaks like that guy who shits in condoms, freezes them and then.... does things with them online.
 
I think it's just lolcows are more open to sharing their weird shit with the world because they don't know any better. There are plenty of normal people who like getting pissed on or shove things up their ass, they just don't talk about it because they have social skills.

People either keep it to themselves, or at least recognize that fetishes/sexual interests only represent a tiny, largely insignificant fraction of who they are. Lolcows have a tendency to turn their fetishes into the cornerstones of their identities.

Yeah.

Although it's not truly an lolcow example, but on this other board I go on, sometimes people post an image of a thread of a diaper fetish board of a person posting how he finds nothing wrong with stealing diapers out of the garbage, microwaving them, and wearing them.

I think for every person with any fetish who acts like that guy does, you probably have 10 who know not to do crazy things or shove the fetish in everyone's face.
 
DrMusic2 is all over the place with fetishes. Inflation, vore, clopping, transformation, furry, plushophilia, and I have heard rumors on the ED forums that she likes little kids too much.

Maybe it's also because most lolcows don't have a healthy social outlet and become repressed? They also spend a lot of time on the internet, where it's much easier to indulge in...questionable things.

But yeah, I think being TMI about it sums it up. Most people keep their interests in niches where it's relevant, some people parade it around and get mocked.

Either that or somehow he managed to weaponise his fetish as a biological agent and has begun infecting others with it.

In which case I may have to permanently retire from this forum and move into my specially prepared nuclear fueled zeppelin which will take me and my friends to antarctica where we can restart civilisation.

Nah, I won their antarctica base from them after a drunk game of poker between my roomates and Mecha Dinosaur Heydrich (along with Eva Braun's negligee... or Goering's, I cant remember exactly which), so right now they are operating out of detroit.
