LTG brought a lot of people into the FGC or at least made them awayre of his existence via his multiple round fights with Viscant, Punishere (a massive Chun-Li fan and man afflicted with yellow fever) and SMUG,all of whith he lost badly after shittalking someone, and the "You should kill yourself now" rant. I literally only found out about the FGC in college because of the Viscant shit being in Crowbcat's fighting game video in 2016, right before the eportsification started.

Low tier God is honestly the only person I've followed from the FGC. I've heard Viscant recently apologized about what happened with him and LTG and he regrets that event because people keep knowing him from it and it made it hard for him to get a job

Angry Joe and Spoony recording themselves publicly sperging out over the early builds of XCOM Declassified ("BETRAYAL!!!") which made it look like a cool Bioshock-esq linear shooter about an alien invasion in the 1960s instead became a shitty and forgettable third person shooter that ripped off the gameplay of Mass Effect.

Who the fuck here actually unironically enjoys ME combat and gameplay? No one. People only played it for the sex scenes.

And don't be like "Well ackshully we wouldn't have Enemy Unknown-ACK" Enemy Unknown was already in development. The old XCOM Declassified builds actually looked kinda cool with being able to shoot slime monsters and shit.
