She was unaware that this even happened until she woke up and saw all of the news, and when she found it she herself was shocked.

Mildly unrelated but I'm always somewhat suspicious of people who over-detail simplistic character designs. Like if you got a stylized character and then for some reason they got really detailed but still uncanny smooth hands type stuff.
