The pantyshot issue is a long running gag in the anime community. You could say it's their blood and soil issue since they see fanservice as a key component of their media. Be it boob jiggle, pantyshots, the semi mandatory hot spring episode or whatnot, they are in the mind that showing you the panties, butts or whatever or the female characters is intrinsic to the essence of anime and any pushback against this sort of sexualization is bad, preachy, puritanic and ultimately, done by miserable leftist hags jealous of characters prettier than them.

For a while this has been a big issue in a lot of anime circles since for the vast majority of them this is SJW infiltration.

I don't recall the specifics about it but there's genetic evidence to back it up. I remember watching something about scientists testing different genes associated with limb & finger/toe replication in mice for some reason & in turning these genes off they found out it would also affect the growth of genitals. The conclusion being that fingers & toes are grown based off the same genetics that make penises.
