I can’t quote reply to it, but I’m very unsurprised by the fact that someone has made animations implying sexualizing Pokemon characters. That always seems to happen and it’s always at such a rabid pace. They did it with Gloria and Marnie in sword and shield and with Lillie in sun and moon. As soon as characters are shown there’s already swathes of pornography churned out.

The first time I remember actually making a point to look at 4chan was because pokemon leaks got dumped for Black and White in probably 2009/10. People were very excited about the new starters... but they were just as excited about Iris (child gym leader from that gen). After the 3rd or 4th Iris rule34 post I was subjected to (which was impressive seeing as it was literally a day or two after her design was leaked) I simply chose to not browse /vp/ and wait until the games came out.

That hasn't changed, most threads on /vp/ now are dump threads lusting after various characters(most of them underage) or furfag threads. Speaking of Iris, the recent Teraleaks show that originally her appearance Black/White 2 had her barefoot and "lacking in panties" for some reason in the same internal document where Gamefreak outlines features or character design they had to remove/censor over the years. Just be glad that didn't go thru, I can only imagine the horrific art/porn that would cause if that was the OFFICIAL art of her.

Well, that I didn't need to know today.
I am not entirely against a game of russian roulette if a gacha whale fails to get a drop, tho. Call it a "critical failure" and give it a small chance of happening to not draw too much concern. Sooner or later, problem solves itself, mathematically speaking. No porn or pissing themselves, tho, just a gunshot to the head.

Yeah, anime/Japan has always had a problem with fan services/pedo baiting trash (which I feel is a legit topic that goes ignored at worst/skimmed at best in normie spheres, so I'm glad the farms hosts people digging into it), but back in my day they got run out/shut down in various online corners when they couldn't help themselves and spilled spaghetti everywhere. I've been out of the loop for ages, so maybe it's just me showing my age.

Nevertheless, now it's like they're such a loud segment of "fandom" that shit pandering to them (just in recent anime, don't even get me started on the vtuber shit) has become profitable enough to mass produce and push even if everyone else who attempts to avoid all the cancer is like "plz stop this, it's gross".

I kind of suspect it's the effect of irony poisoning over multiple online generations (or whatever, I'll let someone better informed/more well spoken chime in from here).
